WISTA Spain is a national branch of WISTA, an international non profit organization for women involved in maritime transportation business and related trades worldwide which has over 1300 members from all over the world.

WISTA Spain was established in March 2007 and currently counts 22 members from companies such as ship agents, brokers,lawyers, etc...

WISTA Spain has the following objectives: facilitate exchange of contacts, information and experiences among its members, promote and encourage education, improve skills of its members and provide a liaison with other related institutions and organisations.

Meetings are held once a year in Madrid or Barcelona. An international WISTA conference is also held anually.
