To be a woman in a male-dominated industry has never been easy and getting to the top is harder still. This is why professional women in the maritime world need a voice.

WISTA fills that need. It is a networking association that can provide professional women in the shipping industry with a collective voice and a point of contact for other professional bodies. Membership is open to all female maritime professionals. WISTA is a non-profit making organisation.

WISTA has an annual conference in addition to other functions during the year to provide a platform to share information, opinion and ideas.
