WISTA (Women´s International Shipping & Trading Association) is an international non profit organization for women in management level positions in maritime transportation business and related trades worldwide.
Our members in Panama are proud to be part of the Women International Shipping and Trading Association since it opens a wide range of opportunities and stands for the professional, dynamic, committed and open mind women of the world.
WISTA Panama as a networking organization for women at management level in the maritime and trade industry, is committed to the following points:
Encourage the participation of members in the Association through events such as conferences, maritime or commerce seminars, social gatherings and meetings.
Facilitate networking between its members through related activities
Promote liaisons with other related institutions and organizations in benefit of the maritime industry
Develop a yearlyResponsibility Program for the benefit for thecommunity
We are searching for women with leadership features and that are willing to take opportunities and be committed to the organization.
WISTA holds a yearly conference during the month of September with all WISTA members from around the world. WISTA Panama had the opportunity to attend its first conference in London on September 2009. The next conference will be held in Greece in September 2010.
