Barbara is an experienced maritime lawyer in Auckland. She started her career as a maritime lawyer in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, almost 25 years ago. Barbara's practice focusses on all aspects of shipping, transport and trade law. She has appeared in the New Zealand Courts, including in respect of admiralty claims and ship arrest. She has advised a wide range of clients in the transport & logistics industry on a variety of issues. Barbara has written the New Zealand chapter on priority of admiralty claims in Kluwer's Maritime Law Handbook. She regularly presents papers on, and enjoys teaching, transport law topics. Helen Murray – Vice President
Helen is a passionate leader of learning with a strong combination of technical supply chain and shipping experience, and relationship and leadership expertise, developed over 25 years. Industry sectors include heavy manufacturing, FMCG, tertiary education and beverage. Helen is also an inspired coach and strategist. Her current role is Supply Chain Best Practice Leader at Lion Breweries, Auckland. Lion is a leading beverage manufacturer and distributor in Australasia with over 1000 products, including key brands such as Steinlager, Corona and Guinness. This role involves strategic business partnering to all of Lions supply chain, helping leaders integrate best practice and develop their peoples capability at the three main brewing and wine sites in New Zealand.
Helen is a qualified Chartered Shipbroker and a committee member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Elizabeth is a senior executive with twenty-two years experience in the Liner shipping industry, specialising in niche multi-purpose shipping in the Asia-Pacific region.
She has a strong interest in global economics and international trade. Her specialties include: Strategic planning, financial management, international trade and development, logistics and transport.

Yvonne joined the world of freight and shipping, firstly with the Kiwifruit Marketing Board and then with Great White Fleet, a bulk reefer shipping company. Experience in both Liner and reefer and dry trades from ship's agent to General Manager led to the Ports of Auckland in 2000 where I have undertaken roles in Gate operations, Logistics Manager and now Manager Customer Services where operations and customer needs are reconciled.
